Construction Management & Development Pty Ltd was founded in 1981 by Executive Chairman, Bill Simpson and is built on the proud legacy of the Simpson family, whose involvement in the construction industry spans four generations.
For more than four decades, the company has combined traditional values of integrity, quality, and craftsmanship with innovative thinking and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes. In 2019, the fourth generation of the Simpson family joined the business, ensuring this legacy continues while bringing fresh perspectives to meet the evolving needs of the industry and our clients.
Our executive team brings extensive experience in construction and project management, having successfully delivered integrated resort developments, high-rise, commercial, and residential projects throughout Australasia. Director
Our managing director, Mark Simpson, is an industry recognised construction professional with nearly 30 years professional experience in corporate management of multi-million dollar projects across diverse market sectors.
Mark is an expert in the various construction disciplines including construction management, design and construct and project lump sum construction. The construction work Mark has undertaken throughout his career ranges from entry level investment homes, luxury home construction and renovation, medium density and high rise construction as well as commercial work.
Mark has also led the company in securing complex approvals for the construction of major integrated resorts.
Mark brings to the organisation a high degree of leadership, professionalism, industry knowledge and organisational skills. His integrity and sincere approach has been appreciated by both clients and industry related stakeholders alike.

Founder
Our founder, Bill Simpson, was an extremely well-known entity in the construction and development industry throughout Australasia in both the public and private sectors.
Bill headed up major public and private companies throughout Australasia such as Abigroup, Mainzeal and Villaworld before establishing Construction Management & Development Pty Ltd.
The vast depth and breadth of experience Bill gained in these roles laid the foundation for Construction Management & Development Pty Ltd to become the success story it is today. Bill's knowledge and experience have guided the company from its infancy and continues to mould and influence its direction even today.
